hurrahh!!!!

.....so ladies and gentlemen finally some pictures have been uploaded on to our computers, ready to show the world the finished commissioned article. As previously mentioned we were commissioned to create a silver locket for a 21st birthday.






This has been an exciting project and there is more to come.

Although short and sweet we do hope that you enjoy.

update time!!!!

So ok, although there are no pictures this time round, we just wanted to check in with you, say hidy hi. . . and update you on our latest goings on. Aswell as completing some of our customising and felting projects we have also be given a few commissions for items of silver jewellery. We shall soon upload some pictures for all your eager eyes to see.

There has also been a movement towards us collaborating with an amazingly talented illustrator, and together we hope to take the world by storm, with funky and fresh designs. We are currently in the process of brainstorming and designing, eventually with a folksy shop full of giddy humourous items to compliment those outfits of yours.

We look forward to sharing them with you, and feedback will always be appreciated.

finally an update!

....so finally ladies and gentlemen vannucchi designs have got round to updating their blog. It has been a good few months now since we set this blog up, in which time we have customised, created and learnt.....but we will take you through it bit by bit, starting with this post being about felting.

A wonderful friend introduced us to the world of felting, and so we have experimented and had immense amounts of fun. We have made little purses, phone holders, and have a couple of new projects in progress.

Here are a few pictures to show some examples of what we have been up to.....

Below are a couple of pieces that are currently in progress.



The aim for this piece is for it to become a small cosmetics bag. On a basic functioning level we still need to line it and a form of fastening needs to be applied. On a more decorative level we would like to maybe add a little sparkle and sew on some sequins.

The second project we have been working on is a bag.

We will obviously add updates on on these projects and show you lovely viewers the final peices, and hopefully have more pieces to show.

We shall soon add a new post with further projects we have been working on over the past few months.....for now though enjoy and take care. xxx

Welcome to Vannucchi Designs

At Vannucchi Designs we create many things from customised cushion covers and home wares, jewellery and other such accessories. We delight in the making of beautiful and colourful creations there to adorn and compliment.

The latest creations are jewellery, made from wood, sometimes combined with gold or silver. These wooden upper arms bangles were decorated with the use of henna and wood stain.These were then sealed in, varnished and then aged.

A similar technique has been used here to make stud earrings, (also in an array of other bright colours).

These earrings were a private commission also with matching ring. The request was for something quirky. Here normal paints have been used to pattern the wood, then they have been sealed and varnished.
